"Coaching is teaching how to use the mind."
"Brain" and "mind" Do we use these words correctly in everyday conversation?
I imagine the contents of the head without thinking that it is called the "brain", but I believe that the "heart" often imagines the area around the heart.
These three meanings are the same in cognitive science, including "mind".
From cognitive science to
In psychology based on behavioural psychology, I think that the function of the brain can be elucidated by input and output, and many try to clarify the relationship that "when such a stimulus (input) is given, such a result (output) is obtained" by experiment. The experiment was repeated.
But I didn't understand anything.
It turned the human mind into a black box. And closed its eyes on what was happening and what was happening in it.
Cognitive science began with this awareness of the problem. "Human beings have a heart" was the starting point of cognitive science.
For example, if you put a cash card in an ATM, you will get money, and if you ask a person, "Please give me 10,000 yen", you will get 10,000 yen, both of which are external functions. It was
Since the inside is recognized in the human cognitive process, money is paid, and in the case of ATM, there are various complicated systems in the program process, and money comes out. The complex system inside it is called "internal representation" in cognitive science.
In Thais-style coaching, we use the term "Belief System". Briefs (beliefs) may be more familiar than internal expressions for those unfamiliar with cognitive science.
We have memorized information from outside ourselves since we were born, and the result of accumulating briefs is our heart now.
The briefs are the actions and judgments (Habit & Attitude) that we usually take unconsciously, and the system that determines those actions is called the brief system.
This brief system

EMOTION (emotional memory)
It is made of three things. First, all of this goes into self-talk and creates a self-image.
