Improving Efficacy is a shortcut to achieving goals.

It's been 14 years since I started using clubs with heavy heads and flexible shafts in October 2009.

If you try to hit the ball with the previous swing method, the golf club will transmit a tremendous reaction force against the owner's intention, and you will not be able to swing.

It is the origin of the word "Minzetsu", or agony.

Some people think that "the amount of reaction is the weight of the club".

However, when I try to move the club head forward with centrifugal force, like a pendulum, the club feels stuck in the air.

When I take my dog for a walk, if the dog tries to take me in a direction I don't want, I will step on my front leg and assert my will.

The golf club does not follow the owner's will but insists on the direction in which the club wants to move.

At worst times, the pulling force behind me feels so great that I begin to fight it myself.

I try to swing with unnecessary force, but sometimes the club head falls 10 cm in front of the ball.

No matter how much you love golf, if you continue in this state for more than ten years, a certain kind of fear and distrust will settle in your subconscious, and no one does not lose confidence. I think.

After fifteen years of struggle, I finally overcame this state of agony.

Now, the agony club is my strong ally.

When you start moving the ball from the grip (the back of your left hand) with the feeling of hitting the ball, you will feel that the club will push you in the direction of the flight line.

This feeling is because the smooth shaft transfers the club head's weight to the hitter.

It's a nostalgic memory now that I've been released from agony.

It was a daily challenge to remove the scotoma caused by the swing before fainting.

"It doesn't start unless you change the image in your brain first."

Finally, I thought I understood my master's teachings in words.

There was a time when I tried to create an image of a swing that would not faint in my head without practising my swing for nearly half a year.

However, this was unsuccessful.

Relying only on the images taught by words, it is challenging to construct images in one's brain.

You do not need to understand the following. It is enough if you understand that you can not grasp the image.

  • Shift your weight to the right: shift your weight onto your right foot, now facing back.

  • Pull with your right elbow and bring the grip up to your right shoulder to make a significant turn on the takeaway.

  • While shifting your weight to the left, lightly press the grip end with your right elbow.

  • Shift your weight and face the front of your body at impact.

  • Conversely, the proper rotation will start if you are conscious of facing the front.

  • When pressing the grip end, press it with the part attached to the right arm.

  • If you have the image of dangling with your left hand, it feels like the back of your hand. It is moving toward the ball while being pushed.

  • If you push your left hand with your right hand, your left arm will be pushed and hit the ground, so pull your left elbow out and let it escape.

From here, I tried to organize what I tried to solve the agony.

Coaching teaches that efficiency is key to achieving goals.

If you increase the sense of the reality of the goal you truly want to achieve, you will be able to create a homeostasis level that makes the world of goals a matter of course.

(Homeostasis is explained in another article, so please refer to it here.)

The close relationship between human emotions and homeostasis

Effective use of homeostasis

Homeostasis keeps us against changes in the environment (universe) surrounding us. It is directly linked to the mind (internal representation) and maintains internal representation.

The story of the most potent combination of unconsciousness and homeostasis feedback.

The higher your homeostasis level, the higher your self-esteem will naturally be. This state is called "efficacy".

Efficacy means "self-evaluation of one's ability" and is the self-confidence that "I can do it" before working on something and making an effort.

It might be easier to understand if you think of efficiency as pride.

Whether or not you can keep this efficiency high will determine whether or not you achieve your goals.

High efficiency is essential to imprint the high comfort zone of the goal world into the brain.

A high comfort zone is not your current but your future comfort zone when you achieve your goals.

It's vital that your goal comfort zone feels right for you.

In other words, it is to raise the evaluation of the person who says, "I have a high ability."

If you think, "I can't do it", you will never achieve your goal. It's impossible.

Also, it is dangerous to confuse high efficacy with a bluff.

A bluff has a higher rating than you think.

You're out of your comfort zone because your efficacy is higher than you set.

Some people chant, "Let's give you efficacy," but please be careful about this. It is different from "Let's bluff". Please be careful not to misunderstand.

Many people are haunted by past failures and the words of others (especially parents and teachers), underestimating themselves now, and cannot improve their effectiveness.

Parents and teachers are the most influential people when it comes to children.

My grades plummeted when I was in the third grade of elementary school.

I have an experience that the teacher at that time completely shattered my efficacy.

Teachers with low self-esteem seem to have an obsessive and unconscious fear of bright children.

So they try to bring the child (student) down to their level.

The teacher looks only at the upsides, such as the principal, the boss and the board of education.

In the fifth grade, I finally broke away from the teacher's prejudice and gradually learned to study, and my grades improved.

Now that I have mastered coaching, I can understand this mechanism well, but when I was in elementary school, I had no choice but to endure it until my environment changed.

In this way, people with low efficiency need to be careful, but conversely, just being around people with high efficiency will increase your efficiency.

It would help if you had affirmations to break the spell of other people's words and increase your effectiveness.

Build your effectiveness daily by making affirmations like, "I'm a great person" and "I can do it."

People can keep their self-image high by setting goals for the future and conditioning how they should be in that future. It is KaizenYourFuture.

Kaizen for the future KaizenYourFuture will also explain how to increase efficiency.

I mastered coaching and set golf goals as one of my goals.

Life goals are not limited to work.

You can find Goals in any area where you find purpose in life: career, family, relationships, lifework, property, living environment, community activities, spirituality, health, and leisure. --It's called a balance wheel.

And last year, I decided to return to my swing basics to reach my golf goals.

He is 65 years old and has a golf par of 72 based on the old course at St Andrew's. So there are only seven years left.

As an aside, I was with a person who will be 73 years old in a week.

I have been with him from time to time, and when I saw my agony club for the first time, I noticed that it was a strange club. I'm here.

I played steady golf that day, and after 17 holes, I was par. You have achieved an age shot if you get a par even at the 18th. However, unfortunately, the last par putt came off, and it was 73.

Golf is a beautiful sport to be able to play a round with such seniors.

Witnessing a powerful swing that didn't make you feel the age difference of 7 years old, my fighting spirit was also ignited, saying, "I will achieve my goal."

Efficacy also increases by being with people with high efficacy in this way.

To achieve my goal, I started with a slight swing about 50 cm in front and behind the ball, called "brush painting", and then worked one by one until a three-dimensional swing.

Then, the image of the words that I had accumulated in my unconscious mind began to overlap with the image of the actual swing.

I was deeply moved by the fact that I had not wasted my history of fainting agony.

About a year ago, right after I went back to basics and started practising, I suddenly started getting good hits.

But once it collapsed, it collapsed like an avalanche.

At that time, I could still not objectively grasp the cause of the collapse. It means that imprinting on the unconscious was insufficient.

It was impossible to recover in one day's round at that time.

But I finally got around to fixing it.

I had all the necessary knowledge to escape the agony in my brain. It just started to connect.

When I reread my master's blog post, I found that my brain connects the words to the images.

I've read the same article on my master's blog before, but it didn't lead to the correct image then.

If you practice the basic swing one by one using the above methods, the images that appear in your brain will become very clear.

After 15 years, the memories accumulated in fragments for a long time have become images in my brain, and I have finally started to form images in my brain.

Watching the image of my swing in the mirror differs from the image on the screen in my head.

Now, the swing image appears as a concrete image in my brain with a sense of reality.

If this image remains in myr brain, I can identify the cause of the mistake and correct it.

Using the knowledge of cognitive science, I could imprint the correct image of the swing on my unconscious mind so my unconscious mind could see any abnormalities in my swing.

I repeated the following self-coaching according to the standard of coaching.

I think this method is perfect for sports.

Everyone too. Please try once.

Analyze the cause of your swing collapse and try it first.

  1. If you try it and it doesn't work, look for the scotoma and remove it.

  2. If you are bound by the negative self-image that you always fail in decisive situations, rewrite your self-image to say that you can do well in decisive situations and increase your efficiency.

  3. It's easy to get nervous when hitting the right shot, so master techniques such as reverse abdominal breathing to induce a relaxed state.

  4. Don't point out your flaws or problems. Instead, have a strong image of your good points and successful experiences.

  5. Clarify goals to increase efficiency.

  6. Also, try to aim one level higher than the goal you set at the beginning

  7. Never remind yourself of your weaknesses and shortcomings. Try to think, "It's not like me to make such a mistake."

  8. Analyze the factors that have worked well so far and try to develop the positive aspects.

  9. When I play a round, I listen to uplifting music in the car when I go to the golf course in the morning.

  10. It's like an "adrenaline warm-up".

  11. Creating a lightly excited state before the game. And creating an environment where adrenaline is likely to be released.

  12. When the game starts, the adrenaline is released at once, and the ball is hit.

  13. Rhythmic music also stimulates the secretion of serotonin. It makes it easier to raise efficiency even further.

[In the case of team competitions, in addition to the above, I think it would be good to add the following]

  1. Just because you don't get along with other members doesn't mean you have to lower your rating.

  2. Instead, I think that "the surroundings are bad". But think about it, don't say it out loud.

  3. Have absolute confidence in your actions.
