An acquaintance of mine wrote a blog with such a title and came across an article introduced on FB.



The problem of "people who can't listen to people properly" may not be solved by consciousness or technique alone.


I hesitated a little if I should comment on this article, but I tried to comment gently.



I don't think he can understand it right away. So I will be ignored and disliked. But I think it's good.



"People who can't listen to people properly" are the problem.



I have decided.


He also says that he had a lot of consent.



RAS (reticular activating system) is a familiar concept that any coach understands in cognitive science coaching.


It is the common sense of coaching.


I became a coach last year, and I realised I met this 20 years ago.


My subordinates at the company and I were made to think through various communication up and down.


I conclude after worrying.

→ "People who don't listen to people properly."

→ "ordinary person."


I came to think so.



I used to be like that.


It was often said, "You still don't understand."


After that, I realised that communication would not be possible unless the way of thinking were at the same level.


Only when standing on the same platform can communication k be established.


The experience I had at that time made me a little better.


In some respects, this is also the correct view.



But if you understand the concepts of comfort zones and RAS, you can understand everything.


People are trapped in their comfort zone.


Getting out of it is not easy.


In the old days, I understood it with the word "belief."


Therefore, Kaizen says it starts with "denial of the status quo."


The human brain has evolved incomparably compared to internal organs.


A tremendous amount of energy is required for the human brain to be 100% active.


In comparison, human internal organs are said to remain at the same level as pigs.


Therefore, it is said that RAS works.


Filters are set up to limit activity so that the brain does not consume excessive energy.


It is the function of RAS.


At least for Toyota's TQM

"People who don't listen to people properly" = "Ordinary people."


That's why I explain until I get hungry.


Coaching shares goals.


Then your comfort zone will approach your goal, and the veil covering the status quo will disappear.



TQM also says that it is the role of the leader to set a vision, clarify the connection to individual tasks, and get angry.
